March is: Music in Our Schools Month
March 7th: CMEA Solo & Ensemble Festival CSU East bay Campus (all day)
March 12th: Annual "World's Largest Concert" Event, 10am PST (1PM EST)
March 12th: OUSD Orchestra Festival is in, I think 7pm, but I will try to find out exactly when.
March 25th: CMS Play-A-Thon
April 17th: CMEA Orchestra Festival, Sonoma State University (time: TBD)
April 25th: CMEA Band Festival, CSU East Bay (time: TBD)
New Family (6th grade) Orientation Night(s) (TDB) (Concert Band will play a short concert)
Spring Concerts: (2 nights TBD; 1 for Beginning Strings and Band, 1 for Concert Band, Advanced Orchestra and Symphonic Band) probably May 28th and June 2nd... but I need to find out when the 8th grade trip and the 6th grade trip will be).

The band is the school’s music program.
Its conductor Ms. Briggs leads all the classes, teaching many instruments. Classes are throughout the school day providing many opportunities. The band is very active. Check out the calendar to the left. They have events almost every week!
There are many different classes. There is Percussion, Intermediate Band, Advanced Band, Beginning Band, Stings, Jazz Band(after school every Wednesday), and Orchestra.
Instruments include: Drums, Clarinet, Trumpet, Saxophone, Flute, Bass Clarinet, Violin, Trombone, Cello, Bass, Guitar.
